David Morgan
David is a piano teacher based in Australia and is a regular performer for weddings and corporate functions. He graduated in 2007 with a Diploma of Music Teaching, and in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary Music. He also has a Masters of Recording Arts.
As a young performer he won many local eisteddfodau and enjoyed the performing opportunities these provided. More recently he has been involved in accompaniment and musical theatre.
David is a very experienced music teacher with over 20 years of experience. He teaches piano students as young as 4 years old to adult students, and if students are younger then they can take part in a more general music class. Generally his students have worked towards AMEB exams if they are wanting formal grading.
David has found that students have different learning styles and so adjusts lessons to suit each student, and the goals they and their family have. Because he started learning with the Suzuki method there is often aural training as part of the lessons, but also development of technique, expression and reading. His main goal is for students to develop a passion for music that continues even when lessons stop.
