She graduated from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 1981 with Bachelor of Music (accompaniment major) studying with Nancy Salas, Neta Maughan AM and David Miller.
Nancy has over 30 years experience as a piano teacher. Nancy was on the piano staff at Saint Ignatius College, Riverview, from 1994 to 2010 and is currently a piano tutor at St Philip's College, Port Stephens, as well as operating her own private practice.
Nancy has a wide experience teaching all ages, from beginners to advanced, across a broad spectrum of levels, standards and directions. Nancy teaches piano, theory, musicianship, music craft and aural training and prepares students, with consistent success, for AMEB examinations, as well as the lighter 'for leisure' repertoire.
